The third negative aspect is the handle, which lacks any cushion, and the metal can grind into a person’s hand.

Some downfalls with the Bayou adjustable dumbbells are that the company is not as well-known, lighter max weight, and the design is not as creative. Some users even report that it is not as quick to adjust weight settings.

Many diehard Bowflex fans would have NO substitute  Other individuals, however, like the affordability of the Bayou set. Of course, if you aren’t in need of 50+ weight dumbbells, then the inexpensive Bayou set may be the way to go.

Still unable to chose?  Well, if you can afford the Bowflex SelectTech 1090, then you can join thousands of satisfied Bowflex customers.  Just note that you DO NOT sacrifice durability when saving some money with the Bayou. So, do you have to have the additional 40 pounds for your workout?  Can you compromise a few things for a less expensive set?

If you choose Bowflex there is no doubt you will be impressed with how fast you can flip from one weight to the next without slowing down your workout. On the other hand you simply cannot beat the price tag and durable quality that comes packed in the Bayou adjustable dumbbells.
